Hua Yi Heart Care Moon
April, with gentle spring breeze,
It is also the National Patriotic Health Month.
This month, we turn our attention to the most diligent organ within our bodies.
-- The heart. It beats approximately 100,000 times every day, without stopping throughout the entire year.
But it is often overlooked by us.
So, we launched a small initiative.
Huayi "Heart Protection Month".
Protecting the heart doesn't require grand slogans.
All you need to do is make a small "right" choice every single day.
We start with four small things -
Eat well.
Exercise regularly.
Have a good sleep.
Love yourself well.
During a month, every day there were many friends.
With one screenshot after another, and one photo after another,
Record the efforts you have made for your heart.
Today, I would like to share these warm moments with you.
Eat well
Protect your heart, start with every meal.
Make the plates colorful, and also make the heart a little more relaxed.
This month,
We saw many of our friends sharing their healthy meals -
It doesn't have to be extremely exquisite, but each plate holds a sentence:
"I am taking myself seriously."

Exercise regularly
The heart is also a muscle, and it too needs to be activated.
It's not necessary to run a marathon, nor is it necessary to go to the gym.
Quickly walk, do jumping exercises, climb stairs, and even take a walk after meals.
It's just giving the heart a pleasant massage.
Some people go for a run in the morning, while others do aerobics in the evening.
Every moment when you sweat is a conversation with your heart:
"Hey, I'll be with you as you build up your strength."

Have a good sleep
At night, it is the only time when the heart can secretly rest.
When we put down our phones, turn off the lights and close our eyes,
The rhythm of the heart will gradually slow down as well.
Like a piece of music that shifts from intense to gentle.
This month, many people have started to go to bed earlier.
No more staying up late to watch videos, no more being reluctant to end the day.
Behind those screenshots of people going to bed early and checking in,
In fact, it was a tender promise:
"Tonight, let the heart have a good sleep too."

Love yourself well
The last little thing is to take care of your own mood.
When angry, the heart beats faster; when anxious, the chest feels stuffy and uncomfortable.
The heart is more sensitive than we think.
So we invite all of you,
Do one thing every day that makes you happy.
Listen to an old song, make a cup of hot tea, and have a chat with the one you love.
Or just sit quietly for five minutes.
When your mood improves, your heart will also relax.

Public Lecture on Cardiogenic Sudden Death

During the "Heart Protection Month" event, we were honored to have Dr. Yu Feihu, the director of the Cardiology Department of the 906 Hospital of the People's Liberation Army of China, come and deliver a special lecture titled "Publicity Talk on Sudden Cardiac Death: Understanding, Prevention and First Aid". At the lecture, there were not only rich and informative explanations but also a live demonstration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), helping all employees enhance their awareness of heart health protection and emergency response capabilities, and truly strengthening the health defense line for everyone.
Daily health-preserving tea beverages

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, we offer exclusive tea beverages such as Shuyu Tea, Xuhuan Huaxin Tea, etc., which provide a gentle nourishment for your daily life. This month, there is also the "Heart Protection Month" - "Energy-Boosting and Warmth-Infusing Drinks", using gentle nourishment to safeguard every moment of physical and mental comfort.
Feedback on Experience
Q: After one month of consistent effort, what changes have occurred in your body or mind? (Such as in aspects like exercise, sleep, stress, mood, concentration, and sense of happiness, etc.)
Yu: Through moderate exercise, not only has my sleep quality significantly improved, but I also feel more composed when facing pressure. I have also discovered that having a good sleep can lead to a better mood.
Wu: The sense of self-discipline has improved. I can maintain good habits and quit the meaningless habit of constantly checking my phone. My sense of control over my life has become stronger and stronger.
Wu: After starting to run, the stability of heart rate has improved. I still remember the first time I went running. My breathing was very rapid, and my legs were sore after the run, and it took a long time to recover. Now I can complete a ten-kilometer mountain climbing. On May 3rd, I completed the hiking around Taolao Mountain in Cixi, and the next day it did not affect my normal activities.
Liu: After spending some time exercising every day, my body is in a slightly tired state when I lie down, and I can fall asleep quickly. The number of times I wake up during the sleep process decreases, and the duration of deep sleep increases. Every morning when I wake up, I am in a relaxed state, and my mood and energy have improved significantly.
Wang: This month of "Protecting the Heart" I stuck to logging in every day, and truly felt that I was gradually improving. The most significant benefit was from the exercise logging. I went to the gym to do exercises every day after work. At first, I thought it would be very tiring, but after exercising, I felt relieved and my body and mind were much more relaxed. After one month, I successfully developed an exercise habit. After the activity ended, I also continued to exercise every day, and my physical condition and resistance improved. Not only did I eliminate fatigue, but after persisting for a month, I also developed an exercise habit and my resistance was getting better. The logging for sleep schedule also made me consciously adjust my sleep schedule and go to bed early. In terms of diet, now I prefer to cook some light and nutritionally balanced meals at home, and rarely order heavy and salty takeout. And for the logging for charging, I read every day, which reduced my phone usage and made me more relaxed.
Q: During the "Heart Protection Month", which habit or which action was the most helpful to you? Why?
Ren: Maintaining an active lifestyle has always been my top priority. It helps strengthen my body and boosts my immunity. Mentally, through the secretion of dopamine during exercise, it enables me to relieve my stress.
Zhang: Charging and exercising help one to focus more on the present sensations, temporarily disregarding things that are two kilometers away or eight hours in the future.
Zhou: During the Heart Protection Month, it was the most beneficial for me to take time each day to calm down and relax my emotions, and to reduce excessive thinking. When facing trivial matters and stress, I could maintain a more peaceful state of mind, without getting anxious or irritable. Negative emotions dissipated more quickly, and my mindset became more relaxed and stable.
Gou: After a month of doing this, the biggest realization I've had is that when I sleep well, my overall state changes completely. I hope I can maintain this routine and wake up every day feeling - "Well, today is also a wonderful day."
Ding: Let's do some exercise and go to bed early! The dual encouragement from the "Fun Run Group" and the "Heart Protection Month" has made me "get moving" even though I usually like to stay in bed. Now I have developed the habit of turning on the "Exercise Mode". Whether it's brisk walking, mountain climbing, or aerobics, getting some exercise has improved my sleep quality. From initially thinking "I can't get a single minute of this", to now realizing "I can actually fall asleep before 10:30", this is a huge breakthrough for me, who has been constantly and chronically staying up late.
Q: Could you please give a "summary" of this event - share your overall feelings and offer suggestions for future events?
Wu: Previously, I thought maintaining good health required a lot of effort. But this month has shown me that small, consistent efforts are more important than perfect plans. Even if each aspect only improves a little bit, the cumulative effect will lead to a significant increase in happiness. Although the activity has ended, I will continue to try to maintain the habits of going to bed early (as much as possible), exercising, and having a balanced diet.
Cai: The overall feeling is that the initial atmosphere was relaxed and casual, and seeing that everyone had high scores, we would also quietly keep up and strive to not fall behind ourselves. Everything needs to have an influence, and sometimes we are also affected by the scores. However, every activity brings some gains, which is a reward for ourselves!
Xu: The company's holding of this event is very appropriate given the current situation where young people are under a lot of pressure. Through health education, knowledge dissemination, and other forms, it has effectively enhanced everyone's awareness of my care. In the future, more such events can be held to help people relieve stress while also maintaining their own health.
Xin: Seeing the improvement in our lifestyle has also made us realize the importance of taking care of our hearts, maintaining health, and valuing our physical well-being. We understand the significance of exercise, diet, and sleep for our health. We hope to maintain this pace in the future, gradually restore our health, and calm our minds.
Yunzi:
The overall experience of this "Heart Care Month" event was excellent. By having regular meals, exercising, reading, listening to podcasts, and completing learning tasks, we gained a lot. I believe that all the friends who have been consistently completing the tasks have, like me, become more at ease in their mindset, have significantly reduced stress, and have experienced an increase in happiness.
Through this activity, I also realized my own shortcomings: I failed to maintain the habit of going to bed early, and my self-discipline needs to be strengthened.
Finally, the members of the Coordination Office, you are truly amazing. Thank you all ❤️

Thirty days, actually, is quite short.
But fortunately, once good habits are established, they are unlikely to be abandoned easily.
The Heart Protection Month will be over.
But having a good diet and doing regular exercise,
Getting a good sleep and taking good care of yourself.
It is something that we should always persist in.
May we all be kind to ourselves.
Start from the heart.
